Mission Impossible
Mission Impossible is a team
rogaining, skill and initiative competition event for Scouts (14+), Venturers, and Rovers, where patrols navigate their way through the bush to various checkpoints and bases. There they compete in challenges to earn their team more points. The team with the most points at the end of the weekend earns their place on the MI Shield. As the sun sets, the event turns to party mode. The Venturer/Rover Overnight Camp (or VROC) comes to life with music, games, and activities.

Venturer Ball
The Venturer Ball is an annual event held on the last Saturday of July. The night is not only a celebration of Venturing across WA, but a chance for us to let our hair down, dress up formally and dance around to some epic beats! It's a great change from our service orientated events and muddy adventures! Keep an eye on our socials for our 2025 Winter Wonderland photos.

Winterquest Standing Camp

Standing Camp is where all Venturer units across WA camp together but run their own programs. Each unit is also responsible for their own gear, food, budget, as well as a fun activity to share. The program includes free and paid activities developed by the Venturer Project Patrol, plus a whole camp wide game and campfire on Saturday night. Look out for infomation for 2026

Maali Medal
Maali Medal is a camping competition held at Manjedal Adventure Centre, where Venturers camp in patrols and compete against other Venturer patrols. Patrols are judged on various things, including: camp setup, meal prep and organisational skills. The program and menu is up to your patrol to decide, and you choose to participate in MAC activities too if they wish.
Kontiki
An annual Venturer rafting weekend where patrols plan, construct, sail and sleep on rafts!

Rememberence Day
Each year on 11 November Venturer Scouts are invited to the only youth led Remembrance Day service at Kings Park.
Gathering at dusk, we pay our respect by laying poppies at the Flame of Remembrance whilst raising money for the RSL. Following our service you can socialise and catch up with friends at our BBQ dinner. Registrations for 2025 open NOW on ScoutMap.
Ventkhana, RallyVent, RoVent
Rally style driving competitions!
It's fun, challenging, adventurous while developing your skills, teamwork and sportsmanship. While some Venturers may have some driving experience, Ventkhana, Rallyvent and Rovent are designed to introduce newcomers to the world of motorsport in a safe and supportive environment. Meet a Random Venturer
Night
The best way to get to meet some new Venturers is to bond over Pizza!
2025 was our second Meet a Random Venturer event in the South region and after being so successful, North of the River wanted in on the action!

Venturer Beach Day
To celebrate the end of each year, all WA Venturers gather at Hillary's for a day of celebration, fun and laughter. We have a BBQ, invest and announce the new BVT applicants and each attendee brings a small gift to be donated to PCH!
It's truly a day of Venturer unity!
